Emily Erikson, Chair of the FAS Senate’s Ad Hoc Committee on the Covid Crisis and University Reopening, served as moderator. Invited speakers were as follows, and there was a Q&A after the speakers made their initial remarks:
- Nicholas Christakis, Sterling Professor of Social and Natural Science, Internal Medicine & Biomedical Engineering, whose work focuses on networks and contagion;
- Virginia Pitzer, Associate Professor of Epidemiology, whose work focuses on the transmission dynamics of imperfectly immunizing infections, and on interventions such as vaccination;
- Pericles Lewis, Vice Provost for Academic Initiatives
